Everything seems as advertised with this robe. I just received this robe and washed it before wearing it and line dried it outside, the amount of shrinkage has me concerned. I hope it will continue to fit and not shrink much more.NIce flannel not too thick and heavy.I have been trying to find a quality robe at a decent price and this is it. I got the "Windowpane Checks Blue/Red." The picture online is accurate but I think it is a bit darker in real life, less distinction between contrasting shawl and exterior flannel.It was packaged very nicely, arrived quickly and the construction is very good. I am female, 5'9" 145lbs and I ordered the small/medium men's. I am just tall enough to prefer a man's cut and I accept it is a bit large on me. But better than too short and the waist too high as regular women's usually is on me.Fit for me... sleeve comes over my knuckles so when I'm getting something in the kitchen I roll them up and length is long, falls mid calf (great!). Each side wraps just shy of the other hip so a little bulk but its fine. I'm not trying to show off my figure, it's a robe. The extra "bulk" isn't annoying at all which is the important point.But so cozy! I wore it over my clothes to see if the oversize would bother me but it was so cozy I didn't want to take it off so I knew it was a keeper.I washed it on very warm and dried it on higher heat in hopes it would shrink a bit. It did a bit... maybe 1" in length and 2" width. In other words not much.But it is a great robe, warm and has some "weight" to it without being heavy and making you sweat as some poly robes do. It's below freezing here and I get cold in the evening even with thermals and the robe keeps me comfortable toasty.Great purchase and would be a lovely gift.It is too large.I ordered for my dad. He was borrowing my mom’s warm fuzzy robe because his robe was so flimsy ?. My mom and I giggled and decided to order him a more appropriate robe. We wanted something warm, full length and nice looking. This was perfect!!!!I bought 1 for me and 1 for my husband. They are fabulous!! I have a lot of allergies so I wanted a natural thread. These are cotton and I have already washed them 3x. They have held up - sometimes I air dry them b/c they're cotton but they have not shown signs of shrinkage.I bought a medium/large for me b/c I wanted it a little bigger. They are perfect for what a person needs them for - comfort and warmth. They have big pockets and there are 2 belt loops for differing heights which I thought was genius. We were in a cold home for a bit and these were life savers!! We absolutely recommend!!I was a little hesitant buying this robe for my husband - I was afraid it wouldn't be warm enough. Wrong. Very cozy and warm but half the bulk of my robe which is terrycloth. My husband is 5'10' and robe is jus a few inches short of his ankles. I am contemplating buying one for myself I have been so impressed.To say this is a S/M is just not true. You can tell from the picture that it is long, so fair there and the hem is good a good 2-3 inches off the ground. I'm 5' 9" and have broad shoulders for my height, but this robe fits like all other robes I've come across. It feels like an overly big one size fits all garment and the shoulder seam droops a couple inches past my shoulder. I have to wrap it tightly around me for a decent fit. I didn't buy it as a gift, but since they present it as such, I'll note two other things. The gift box, which would have been nice, was all scratched up. The robe itself was extremely wrinkled in the box, so I'd be embarrassed to give it as a gift. I put it in the dryer to get the wrinkles out and it didn't really help. I'll try washing it, but I think this robe is wrinkle prone. All this said, this robe is super soft and comfortable.So, though it's not what I hoped fit-wise, I think I'll keep it as no one but my wife will ever see it.I’m 6’4 and always wanted a decently long bathrobe. This is very long. Perfect fit.This is a very nice cozy and warm robe. Potential shrinking if you throw in the dryer. Nicely made. Nicely packaged when shipped**EDITED**sehr solideElle va bien
