Beautiful! No other word for it. Well, luxurious - it feels like it’s part of a 30s movie star wardrobe!This was more expensive then I have ever felt comfortable spending for a single article of clothing.But I realized I live in my robe all year, I wear it every single day - so that puts things into a different perspective.I have been cold in single layer silk or cotton robes, hot in synthetic or fleece and cotton terry always looks bad quickly.This is amazing ? so much lighter then expected. I tried both sides and am very pleased with how the silk feels against my skin and the cotton adds just the right amount of warmth and weight to hug your body.The seams are well done and pockets in both sides.Highly recommend the splurge if it's not gonna break your bank.Will update on wash results and durability.She loves it, and it makes her look like a Hollywood starlet from the sixties to me.Perfect for lounging. Completely reversible. Luxurious.Love this robe! searched all over with reviews to find a robe that is not really heavy but warm for winters and had long sleeves and long length and not to expensive. This fit the bill perfectly! I love that the outside is a suede like feel. I would buy again and gift also.I have wanted a robe like this for a long time and am so glad I made the investment! It is very soft and well made and the light peach color compliments my skin tone. Love that it is rversible and can step out of the shower and step in to the robe but not feel like i am being weighted down in terry cloth.This is beautiful silk. If only the terry lining was more skin friendly, I would love this robe. So now I wear the silk on the inside, and the terry is not a good look. It slips and slides open so I may have to add some snaps or ties. This robe was $300 . It will probably hang in my closet because it does not give me that comfort feeling like I had hoped.Alright. This was $260 robe that I returned because when I buy something that is over $100 I expect perfection. My first issue was the sizing. This was a L/Xl but fit me like a medium. The quality of the material was fine. The craftsmanship was poorly executed. There were frays at vital seams. I gave this robe about 2 weeks of use before ultimately deciding to return. The reversible design is nice however once again poorly executed. The idea of a silk tie with a silk robe is just dumb. I had to triple knot it to get this thing to stay shut. The seller is now refusing to refund me the full amount because they say it's stained. (Most likely by water on the silk side) If you don't want someone to give your product a fair shot then don't sell it for $200+.I would like to add I had to go through Amazon to get my refund. Also don't buy this if you think you might return it at all. The seller told me that they would only give a 50% refund on anything less than pristine from the box it was bought in condition.I treated myself to this robe and I am so pleased...it's reversible; one side is incredibly fine terry cloth, the other excellent quality silk. So much nicer than an unlined silk robe because I can wear it after bathing and feel warm. It's both luxurious and comfortable. This robe is very well made; the seams are generous as is the length. No regrets, just enjoyment!
